Monday July 30th, 2007 - Thousands gathered at the Tribal Knights CARIBANA Mas Camp on Sunday for the largest pre-Caribana block party in Toronto's history. An estimated 500 plus motorcycles and over 6000 spectators packed into the parking lot at the Markham and Finch event. Hundreds of cars filled every neighbouring parking lot and several patrons complained of having to walk more than 15 minutes before getting to the party.
Guests were entertained by Toronto motorcycle crew, Stunter's Inc (http://www.stuntersinc.com/), plus Trinidad Soca artists Blaxx & Olatunji Yearwood (from Roy Cape All Stars), and a host of top Toronto DJs.
The annual affair also attracted Toronto media houses: MTV Live, Global News, City TV, Driver Mag, plus a number of local newspapers and websites. Video footage will be aired on MTV Live on Thursday August 2nd, between 6-7pm (EST).
